I have the Nest for both.

I had the Ring doorbell and switched to Nest. I didn't really see a huge difference. Although the Nest thermostat and doorbell sync well to the Google Home. It'll tell me who's at the door by name. I can tell my home to show me the front door (and/or any other cameras you might have) and it'll show up on the TV since that's synced as well.

I'm really going for the government surveillance of my home party pack.
