Illegal immigrants are only eligible for a small portion of handouts (school, SNAP, and ER visits). I dont truly have a good way of avoiding that.

Do you think we can or should simply shut those off for children?

I dont think adults immigrate here if they cant work. Take that away and most of the problem goes with it, IMO.
