a list of some form or another that identifies a person as too dangerous, for one reason or another, to purchase a firearm.
I believe that is a fair assumption that some list or database exists to support the types of checks.
My question to you is does this list of citizens, who'd be denied purchasing a firearm, also indicate they are some type of risk to the general public regardless of gun ownership?
And should the federal government be pursuing these people to remove them, in some manner, from being a public threat? Such as involuntary committment if they aren't sane enough to have a firearm, or perhaps actually arresting them if there is some crime they've committed but have not been apprehended?
