like settled science.

That is to say it is not settled at all, but the libs can't prove it so they proclaim it.

Name a few hurdles placed in front of blacks that deny them opportunities.

Hurdles that are not the result of criminal behavior, drugs, or lack of education. (Most of which stem from fatherless homes and liberal social policies.)

Yes, some people are racist. And newsflash, some racists are black.

But there are laws that make race based hiring discrimination illegal. Except of course for affirmative action, quotas and lower standards for minorities. i suppose that is good racism. Helpful if condescending and patronizing.

There are government protections in place. What else should be done?

Do people have any responsibility for their station in life? Is it primarily racism that keeps blacks from succeeding?

Do the liberal domestic policies of democrats and gutless republicans have any role in any of this?
