shorter, ball control style passing game. Every account I have heard on him this week has noted that his accuracy deep is his big weakness. Our offense will have to be adjusted to account for his skills, but there is always some of that when you make a QB change. You don't find the same guy over and over again.
The two key points I keep coming back to are this.
1. He's not as good as Lock. So, while Sr Bryant may be better than Soph Powell or Fr Bazelak, he is not better than Sr Lock. We can be good next year, but there are some really unreasonable expectations on Tigerbored.
2. What type of game can Powell or Bazelak really excel at? Are they more pinpoint midrange guys or are they capable of the deep stuff that Lock is? Are we changing our offense to fit Bryant and then just changing it right back a year later? I don't think so. Think we'll be more ball control passing under those guys than we will be a bomb it Lock-style team.
