University at Buffalo men's basketball senior Wes Clark was named the 2018 Riley Wallace Award Winner, which is presented to the nation's top transfer.
"Wes Clark was a difference maker for Buffalo," said CollegeInsider.com's Angela Lento. "He was one of the most underrated players in college basketball this season and should have been a first team All-Mid-American Conference selection."
Clark played in the final 26 games of the season after becoming eligible in late December. He was named the MAC Tournament Most Valuable Player after scoring 26 points in the MAC Championship game against Toledo. Clark averaged 25.5 points per game in Buffalo's two NCAA Tournament Games as he had 25 points and seven assists against Arizona and added 26 more points in his final game against Kentucky. Clark ended his career with 1,015 points split between his time at Missouri and Buffalo.
