..including large portions of the population of its two major cities that are ambivalent at best, if not antagonistic to Mizzou, cities that traditionally have been pro-sports towns, and without a consistent history of winning at a high level.

Add to that the changing demographics I mentioned and the meltdown of the program and University in 2015 and here we are.
