basement is accessible from the outside, whether is a basement garage, or a walkout in the back, something like that

Or as soon as you walk into a home and the entryway is below the main level of the home(take half a staircase up to the main level, half down to the basement/garage) then you're dealing with a bi-level/raised ranch as well
