Clark was on academic probation for nearly 2 years, he was supposed to be monitored closely and have oversight on his academic progress. He was starting right up until the point that Kim was informed he was in violation of the agreements of his academic probation and being dismissed from the team because we didn't do a very good job administratively in the program during that period.
Similarly, Dixon flunked out of Arts and Science. That is after already being suspended under Mike Anderson for academic dishonesty. Similar to Kim, its not really Haith's job to micro-manage that Dixon wasn't going to flunk out of school. But he was the 'CEO' of the program at the time and that was an important asset, if he delegated those responsibilities to the people who support him tasked with those duties they failed him and it cost him big time.
