Yeah, but look at all the time it took GP to get there. 7 years and still he couldn't win us a Natty.
Odom's only been here 3 years and is just not starting to have a lot of his players being major contributors.
I am not trying to prop Odom up, artificially or other wise, but why do you think if we are so bad that we should start over which would most likely mean that we would decline over the next year or two even if we hired a coach that you think would do better.
Besides, Odom's recruiting is a lot better than you guys give him credit for. GP never had the depth at DT or any better ones individually. He did have better DEs, but then Odom seems to be doing what you guys have been begging for for years and that be moving to a 3-4.
We need better DBs, but then so did Pinkel. He didn't have any that were super studs at the NFL level which seems to be most peoples standard.
BO has better RBs as a stable than GP ever did!
Don't go over the top with fire Odom just because you don't like something! It takes time. As I said, I am not yet an Odom fan. I see a lot of improvement since he took over. He still has time to be the best coach you will ever see at Mizzou.
