Kavanaugh has no reason to recuse himself from anything dealing with Trump. They have not had a prior working or private relationship so there is zero reason for recusal except you do not care for his opinion. Remember 'Elections have consequences."

Second the dems do not have the power to give him the job or keep him from getting the job for that matter. All they can do is sit on the sidelines, make a lot of noise and then watch the GOP vote to confirm or not.
