Those involved in the assassination of Linclon (THAT was an attempted overthrow of the US government also as the pot included killing the President, VP, Sec State and others) were likewise not charged with treason.

No.. providing information detrimental to the U S efforts against the Taliban is not treason.

The Rosenbergs passing nuke info to the USSR during the 'Cold War' was not treason...
