you asked WHY he's doing it.
Then when answered, you argue with whether it's "astute" or not when people just tell you why he's doing it.

He does a lot of stupid #hit in they eyes of a lot of people, but seems pretty clear he does what he says he believes in and fights about it - even if that's incredibly sophomoric and juvenile at times.

Go back and read his campaign platform.

This is no news to anyone who cares to know, but appears shocking to people who hate him yet apparently know very little about his stated platform and beliefs.

He certainly isn't aligned point for point with the GOP book.
