1. Generate excitement in any and all fashions. Radio, TV billboards, traveling caravan throuought state I don't watch commercials, listen to XM or HD radio, traveling caravans never come close to Stately Sanford Manor
2. Open practices. Let reporters have access to the team. Free press is going to generate interest STL Post has a pay wall on the interwebs, and I wouldn't spend a dime on it or any other pay site.
3. Fill the stadium. Offer three game game packages now. Ability to pick your seats and buy instantly, just like you can for other pro teams and concerts Would generate little or no traffic. Either you're in or you're a casual fan. This is a impulse purchase for mid MO fans and you've got all you're going to get.
4. Energize the students. Get them back in the games. Sucks they may leave at half (different issue) but get them to the game The majority of students are honkie males and females with some financial resources, many times a lot of resources. Most are as un-athletic as they come. They don't give a damn about football, or baseball, or tiddly winks because they can't or never did play it
5. Improve the pregame experience. Live bands multiple parking lots. Free buses from downtown with turnaround spots right outside the stadium, pre and postbgame For the locals and they don't give a darn anyway
6. Discount to all season ticket holders that increase their numbers of season tickets. Risk analysis already says no gain, or they'd have done it
7. Win some damn football games, and stop scheduling non division 1 teams Not happening. 8-4 looks good on the scoresheet. No one remembers you beat Delaware State 97 to nothing, they just remember it represents 1 win.
There are more items, and I am sure this will get blasted on here, but for God sacks try something different
