The IG didn't recommend charges against McCabe. The IG referred his findings to the US Attorney General's office to determine if charges should be brought. Thus far, no charges have been brought.

I'm not sure how you know the contents of the report on Comey since it hasn't been released yet. From what I've read from leaks, Comey defied authority in his handling of the Hillary investigation. Specifically, he shouldn't have influenced the election in Trump's favor as he did.

I have no problem with your statement the FBI is not above criticism. I find no evidence to support the "FBI and DOJ being crooked as hell under Obama".

Also, there is much more to the obstruction case than simply the firing of Comey. So no, that has not been put to rest.
