I have played Ball, but will admit football was my best sport.IMO basketball was and is totally controlled by the officials and their style, I hated that then and now.

I hate the shot clock at anything below 45sec let teams make 5 passes and play a slow down style to try and steal games, offenses are so rushed now and free flowing it's more street ball than basketball so coaching is a moot point outside of recruiting for the most part get your recruits and try to out talent the other team if you can't get more talent then you lose almost always where is the upsets now,the Cinderella teams?

I'm not a fan of the 3 pt line either because it takes away the mid-range game so players rarely work that aspect now the game is just moves to the hoop or jack 3's. At least put the 3pt line at the Pro distance! People should not be shooting a high of percentage from the 3pt line as they do closer in.

And I hate how defense is just evolved into a on court mugging and daring officials to call fouls which they can't over the course of the game because everyone moans that they are destroying the flow of the game and turning the game into a FT shooting contest which the irony is that many players shoot so low of a percentage that it benefits the defense and acts like a turnover.

Move the Line in so players shoot a high percentage, and yes I wish players worked on FT and shot 80% and up but hey nobody cares about Charity stripe points no highlight reels or ink for FT unless you miss... so just go full millennial and make it easier to score FT.

It's just odd to me that games from the 70's,80's and early 90's are better to watch, better fundamentals, better contrast of styles of play and more game flow. Clearly players are more talented and athletic now but the game is so Helter Skelter and uneven now I can't watch any CBB that doesn't involve Mizzou.

There is a reason why the regular season games in CBB are not watched like they use to be and heck even the Tourney is losing ratings.

Add in the dirty aspect of CBB and the fan base is eroding.
