from the Porter brothers: 1 season of Michael, 2+ of Jontay given that he reclassed.

That's what Porter Sr got a 3-year 7-figure contract for.

Instead, we got 0 seasons from Michael because he had surgery for a problem that began 2 years ago. If Jontay leaves, we will only have gotten 1 season from him (which should have been his senior year in high school). The scholarship we've held onto for him will go to waste.

Overall, we will have gotten less than anyone could have possibly imagined from the Porter deal, and it would add insult to injury if dad tries to milk the contract for all it's worth.
