he wasn't fired for lack of success. He was fired for being a cockbag.

The standard discussed here is the standard for being a leader of a program at the University of Missouri. And that standard precludes cockbaggery. And defending said cockbaggery says more about you than it does about Sterk or anyone else who played a role in EE being fired.
