for Mizzou, but you can't blame them for choosing their Godfather Lorenzo Romar over a D-2 nobody like Kim Anderson.

I certainly understand their decision at the time.

When an opportunity presented itself (i.e. when Kim was replaced with a D-1 coach) they returned to their #1 choice, MU.
