and the Sacred Scriptures tell us it is "the church of the living God, the pillar and bulwark of the truth. (1 Timothy 3:15)
Why should I not listen to the theologians and doctors who have studied this intently, dialogued with others on it extensively and lived it out in real life situations on a daily basis? It looks rational, sounds reasonable to me and passes the smell test.
Do you take the advice of doctors, lawyers or tax experts under advisement, or do you work everything out on your own?
