It starts with how we diagnose young people with mental illness. It starts with prescriptions which often make the mental issues far worse. It's the community coming together and recognizing when a student is struggling with things. It falls on teachers, parents, and those involved in children's lives.

Do I think that restricting certain types of guns are the answer? No, but I think stricter background checks that include checks into mental health is a good idea.
