either quit watching other games or did so but hated it...which would be weird.
Enjoying something more now does not mean you didn't do it before.
Also, there was a misuse of the term fair weather fan.
The fan who gripes about his team is not a fair weather fan. He's a fan. A fair weather fan quits watching and/or jumps on a different bandwagon and enjoys that team.
But according to MNT, I'm a fair weather fan because over the years I've not watched a lot of SEC games not involving MU. I watch some, but not a lot. I watch more ACC or Big 12 ball because I want to see good games. This year is different, your run of the mill SEC game is better than I can ever remember the SEC being. But I'm a fair weather fan.
