For example, with 8 decades of data, I would weight the most recent decade with 40%, 30%, 10%, 5%, 5%, 5%, 3%, 2% respectively down to the oldest decade.
Particularly since the NCAA has expanded, the conferences have changed, and overall parity has really transformed in the last couple of decades. Tradition and history prior to that isn't really a reflection of programs now, in my opinion.
Just my way on using historical data. Mizzou has the tools with Martin to finish this decade strong.
