While he was lightning-quick, he only went to his right. Good teams caught onto that rather quickly. He also is no threat to score from deep - teams caught onto that quickly. If the penetration dribble to the right is taken away, he can do nothing to put pressure on the defense.
I think it speaks volumes that even with those massive deficiencies, he was starting! I'm not going to presume that it's our coaching staff's fault that he transferred away. It happened. It happens all the time in college basketball. Just was at a critical position of need for our team right now which stinks. If he'd have stuck around, he'd certainly be getting more floor time now!
