Assuming Cuonzo does a good job its probably year 3 that it is realistic to think MU is back on stable feet. Its really impossible to gauge him as a long term option before then unless he just starts making it readily apparent he doesn't know what he is doing which won't be the case.
The good thing is that games are reasonably exciting and competitive again. We have a reason to care, and a reason to have expectations. Honestly that is pretty amazing, that we would be sitting at 5 games over .500 at this point and feel very frustrated and disappointed.
