but only at the D1 level and there are still loopholes. There always are. The coaches won't be allowed direct contact with young recruits but they will still be able to communicate through third party reps or travel ball coaches. So basically you'll have "silent" offers that a girl can't officially accept until her junior year in high school. Which is a step in the right direction but it will also limit the ability of the parents and players to know who is actually committed and what a colleges needs are.

As with everything recruiting, the rules will keep honest coaches honest but not so honest coaches will find ways around them.
