They tried to flank at one time lost the battle of Little round top and the orchard. Longstreet wanted to withdraw and continue fighting a defensive war. Lee wanted to take his chances right then and there for a lot of political reasons that I will not go through now. Keep fighting a defensive war is what they ended up doing and losing any way. Study your history from a Missouri boy with an education not some ignorant cracker. Do you know how many southerners from Texas to Florida that I have kicked their ass?
