situation with an active shooter claiming to have already killed one person and to have poured gasoline throughout the residence and threaten to light everything/everyone on fire.

The police were played in this and the reported exigent circumstances made it a matter to be taken very seriously. It is a terrible shame and an unfortunate accident but the criminal culpability falls on the low life scumbags who think it's all a game to make false reports.


Read about the actual caller? Several previous felonies for swatting and calling in a bomb threat. Yet in California, he was not only free to repeat his activities but had no court-ordered prohibition against the use of social media.

But then again, California allowed Kate Stenle's killer to get off on her murder.
