Illinois has players who did not have good games and still won. Jordan was the second leading scorer coming in and had one point. Kipper Nichols has had a number of big games this year and had two points. Just plain silly to say that Illinois’ players had better than average games while Missouri players had horrible games. The Illinois freshmen did handle the big moments better than the Missouri freshmen, I’ll give you that. But that’s part of the game.
Missouri is not 15 points better than Illinois. You are looking through biased eyes. Illinois is very young on the perimeter and not always consistent, but Frazier, Smith and Williams can play a bit for freshmen.
Good rivalry going forward. Your two leading scorers in the game were seniors. Illinois’ only senior had two points last night.
