Illinois didn't take Mizzou completely out of their offense,

Our guards did with poor play. Thats not poor coaching, thats simply poor play. However in the first half when we did settle down, we missed A LOT of OPEN shots we normally make. Again that has ZERO to do with coaching. In the second half OFFENSIVELY they ran clock at the 10 minute mark on. For the first 10 minutes they did not. Furthermore DEFENSIVELY they NEVER let up. We got more aggressive and put the onus on the refs to call fouls. In the first half our guards were passive. NOTHING to do with coaching....EVERYTHING to do with young players LEARNING.
