Damn straight there's a connection with Frost & Phillips. Frost was banging Phillips' girlfriend (Kate McEwen). When someone told LP, he went over to Frost's apartment building where McEwen just happened to be. (hmmmph...what do you think they were doing?)

Story has it that Frost was hiding in the closet/bathroom, so LP did the next 'best' thing and pulled McEwen down the steps by her hair and banged her head against the mailboxes in the lobby, leaving a dent.

And yet, the Husker faithful selectively look the other way against this atrocity and revere Frost as their savior. It's a joke up here (I'm in Omaha).
