Before Facebook it was Limbaugh and Maddow. It was Fox opinions and it was MSNBC opinions. People reinforced their thoughts and values with the advent of 24h News. And it has has an increasingly polarizing affect on politics. Its the reason compromise no longer exists.

But I do also hold those entities to blame. Its not like they dont know what they are doing. We arent better because they exist. Im not saying they shouldnt exist, but they can shoulder some of the blame.
