Maybe he's great, but I wonder if he's a fit for Odom's style or if he was here to help implement what Cross wanted to do.
Renna has primarily worked with the defensive line, where we already have Haley. He was a safety/linebacker in DIII, so maybe he could work with Brian Odom as a linebackers coaching duo.
That still leaves an open spot on staff, though.
