people want to talk about the schedule being "easy" but that would account for winning games, not for the shellacking the Tigers are putting on the competition. NOBODY else is putting a shellacking on these SEC teams like Mizzou ...not even beating UConn like Mizzou.
UCONN, Mizzou wins 52-12 (40 pts) and #18 UCF wins at home, only up 11 entering the 4th quarter, final score 49-24... edge Mizzou
Mizzou ran for 433 yards against Tenn; LSU only ran for 200... edge Mizzou
Gators only lost to South Carolina by 8 a week after Mizzou crushed them by 29
Considering the dropped passes by Hall and the myriad of mistakes (penalties) made by the defense... Mizzou would have dominated some of these games by an even greater margin than they did.
So while those issues give me "pause"... it also gives me encouragement
As I posted in a different thread, the only teams "this" Mizzou team would lose to if they played TODAY would be UGA and Auburn
