records, the question is can he beat good or even just average teams. Can he beat a team ranked in the top 50? Can he beat a team with a .500 record or better? So far the answer has been 'no'.

If he can take care of lowly Arkansas (another team about to fire its coach) and beat a top 50 opponent in the bowl game, then he will have shown that the recent apparent turnaround has been due to coaching merits rather than an unprecedented streak of cupcake opponents late in the season.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
