It doesn’t matter if ku is any good. It was the 2nd longest rivalry in the country before it ended. It won’t have the national attention of a LSU vs Bama, nor should it, but it still means something due to the actual Civil War implications and the close proximity of the schools. There is deep seated hatered that goes way deeper than sports. Hard to erase that. No one here, with a brain in their head, misses the conference. We love the SEC, but it would be good to renew that rivalry.
