that has torn apart the constitution at about every turn anyways. There are probably already too numerous to say laws that violate the 2nd amendment.

Of course you take that further step (vote to outlaw guns) like that is in serious consideration.

However, this society at pretty much every level taken the Constitution as a guidance, and not literally for decades now...so I guess the Constitutional argument would be to abolish all gun laws.
