... if we win out, then he deserves to stay, and might well be successful here, but I doubt it.

if he just gets to 4 wins and is retained, we are 100% guaranteed screwed for 5 years ... if he gets to 5 wins and stays, we are 85% likely screwed for 5 years.

No good HC would have let happen what has happened to this team this year:

Letting Missouri State score 35 points in the first half.

Giving up against Purdue.

Firing a DC in the middle of the season.

Giving a post-game interview blaming your players for everything (IMO).

Failing to identify starters and back-ups on D.

Failing to identify how you want to play D.

Failing to communicate at all effectively with fans and media.

Basically, Odom really sucks as a HC. Maybe later he'll learn and get better, but I doubt it.
