if I were Colin K. I'd have gathered a group of the league's most high profile players - anyone that would help and I'd have pushed the league to record "public service" messages that would play at the start of each game or maybe randomly throughout games. You'd have gotten positive press. You wouldn't have offended veterans and military families whose loved ones have sacrificed for your right to speak up and you may still have a job in the NFL.
