moron. But it doesn't take more than a handful to ruin the reputation for the millions of good and decent police officers. There is a systemic issue with police protecting their own, even the bad officers, that needs to be overcome as step #1 in remedying this problem. There are lots of other small steps that help lead to fixing this issue and the biggest step is cameras on all police. But of course, the St. Louis Police union is fighting having it's officers accountable by having cameras. I can't imagine why certain parts of the community don't trust police officers when the officers are fighting such a common sense tool to holding officers accountable and weeding out the bad ones.
