Any violations, whatever they may have been, with regard to Jakeenan Gant occurred under Kim Anderson. I place zero blame on Andertson whatsoever because our poor compliance department had already approved the internship. I do agree with Fijitiger that our then-pitiful AD seized on all of this nonsense to create a narrative that Haith somehow had ruined the program and then accentuated that by self-imposing ridiculous penalties that never would otherwise have been expected. In hindsight, it was fairly brilliant in that a majority of our low-information fan base completely bought into it, and Anderson was given three years to receive high praise for sinking a ship.
