Employees have no-compete clauses all the time. Why shouldn't a kid who's getting to play a game and get a free education?
Now, to coincide with that, I think the NCAA and NBA should have a new system in place to keep the kids who won't want to be in college out of college.
The argument that coaches can do it so players should to is kinda bogus, but I do support kids moving if there is a coaching change. think about a factory worker who wants more choice over his domain like his manager has. He has two choices, do nothing and stew over it or join the management training program or night class and get qualified to become the manager. No different for a college player. You want more freedom of choice, work to become a pro or work to become the coach. Quit just giving people shlt.
