his tenure. It allowed the charade to go on longer than it should have, when even the coaching staff had given up by then.

It was astounding that any fans were attending that last season, and a tip of the cap to all of them that did. I don't know how they did it. I certainly don't think you can point the finger at the fanbase considering the program itself wasn't trying and the product was so abysmal.
