I can side with that, I guess.

I argue with friends b/c I don't necessarily see the need to take down those statues - they are a part of our history, an ugly part, but an important one. The fire back at me that these men were pro slavery. Yes. But part of our history and CERTAINLY vital part of the history of the South.
