if Mack Rhoades was not our AD and Kim Anderson was not our coach, it would not have been presented as an NCAA investigation and we certainly would not have self penalized in such a ludicrous manner. It took a considerable amount of incompetence from both roles for it to need to be positioned in that manner.

Certainly no program that was trying to seriously compete in men's basketball would have had things play out like that.
