he has advocated many times that life imprisonment should be the punishment for many crimes that do not even take a life. I would suspect he is very much in favor of the 3 strikes laws or something similar.

He is certainly supportive of the use of overwhelming force by the police as well as defends many cops that have killed suspects...using those suspects' past as evidence and applauding them being taken out...which is totally irrelevant 95% of the time.
