not true evidently you have never studied cases in Florida. Some cases have gone to trial and this law has been used as a defense and won and others did not even make it to trial. There is one going on now that happened in a theater up the road from me with the old man shooting the younger guy. He felt threatened. what happens I do not know. another case where the guy at the convenience store shot some black kids because he thought that they had a gun ( he will probably be convicted) Another case: a guy looked out the window and saw a guy breaking into his truck he chased him down the road and killed him Off. there was another case at a bar
