I really do not agree with either law. The first law was actually very stupid, it was politically driven. Because it protected someone with a firearm but not one without. Let us say that I am at a movie and someone threatens me to the point that I fear, If I had a gun I could shoot him and kill him. Stand Your ground. However if I were to kill him with a strike (and there are a few that I have practiced and would like to see how they would work) I would at the very least get manslaughter.
