and I also thought he would be considerably more motivated and committed to the job.

There was a brief window when we still had Fuller and had just hired Fulford, and we had many of the remaining players from the last staff still on the roster where it seemed plausible he could succeed. But then the coaching was just so poor, and it became unrecoverable.
