I don't know what my friend ratio is here, nor do I care. I come here for honest discussion — not as my social life or to make "friends" like you do, apparently.

What I do know is that I post about Mizzou sports primarily, whereas others (e.g. you/Gary) post primarily about other users (e.g. me). I also know that a lot of people here agree with many of my opinions and viewpoints (this thread, for example).

As a passionate fan and — more importantly — an alum, I hold our coaches to higher standards than you and others do. I guess you could say I think more highly of MU and thus have higher expectations. Sometimes, this causes "fans" with lower expectations and opinions of MU — such as beakers and yourself — to get upset when I criticize the failures of employees who make millions of dollars to win at a high level. I think the people who tend to agree with me are fellow alums who are equally passionate in their fandom, and who feel a personal stake in the university and its reputation. The ones who tend to disagree with me are... well... like you.
